What to expect on your first visit

On your first visit to our clinic, you can expect to be here for about 45 minutes. Our friendly staff will welcome you and guide you through the paperwork you will need to complete so that we can find out how we can best help you.

Once your new patient forms are completed, Dr Justin will discuss the information on your forms with you, as well as any concerns that you have. Given that the chiropractic approach may be different from the previous treatment you have tried, he may discuss some useful concepts with you so that you have a clearer understanding of how the body works and how the chiropractic care we provide will be beneficial to you.

If following this discussion he feels that chiropractic may be of benefit to you, he will conduct a thorough physical examination. This includes postural assessment, Range of movement evaluation, palpation (feeling the problem areas) examination to determine which areas may require chiropractic adjustments.

If x-rays or other imaging (i.e. MRI, CT, US etc.) are required, these will be arranged and may require liaising with your Medical Doctor.

Once all diagnostic procedures are completed, your chiropractor may commence your care if it appropriate to do so.

Chiropractic is a physical therapy utilising a range of drug-free and non-surgical techniques to promote recovery from conditions that result in pain and restriction of movement.

Chiropractors have specialised training in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions which lead to symptoms such as neck and back pain, muscle spasms, sciatica, headaches, migraines and jaw pain. Chiropractors also treat sports injuries and work related conditions. Chiropractors study at university for 5 years and focus this training on the neuromusculoskeletal systems.

We welcome Department of Veterans’ Affairs card holders, and provide Chiropractic care with no out-of-pocket expense to DVA card holders if you have an appropriate referral from your General Practitioner.

Dr Justin Woods

Justin graduated from Murdoch University in 2008 after completing a 5 year double degree in Chiropractic. He also has a degree in Sports Science from Edith Cowan University. In 2016 Dr Justin travelled Australia with his family on a working holiday returning to the South West where he previously worked in Bunbury and Donnybrook for 8 years. Dr Justin uses a variety of techniques including chiropractic adjustments, mobilisation, traction, muscular therapies, dry needling, Graston technique, Kinesiotaping, Sports specific strapping and rehabilitative exercises. Treatments are patient centred with his approach to tailor each treatment plan to everyone’s unique body. Dr Justin previously played high level cricket in Perth and regional WA and still has a keen interest in amateur sport. With this background, Justin has a passion for enhancing performance and injury prevention. He also loves treating families and seeing them receive the benefit of chiropractic care. When he is not at the clinic you will find him with his family, at the beach or playing golf. He loves watching most sports and especially AFL. He is a keen and one eyed West Coast Eagles supporter.

Dr Zach Willmott

Zach grew up in Harvey and following his passion for sport and how the human body works, he was drawn to Chiropractic, completing his double-degree in 2021. A country boy at heart, he was lured back to the south-west after university, working in Busselton for 2 and a half years.

Returning from a 6 month working holiday at the end of 2024 across North America, Dr Zach has settled in Eaton and aims to continue helping people from all walks of life feel their best.

Previously a trainer for multiple football teams including the Brisbane Lions AFLW team, Dr Zach utilises many different muscle work and taping techniques as well as adjustments, mobilisations, dry needling, exercise prescription and dietary advice to get the best results for his clients. He takes a holistic and individualised approach to treatment and enjoys being able to help improve people’s movement, strength and pain; whether it’s injury rehabilitation and prevention or getting seniors back into their activities of daily living. On his days off Zach enjoys playing cricket, surfing and supporting his beloved Fremantle Dockers.
